The new Allied Health Building at Georgia Gwinnett College is a three-story, 91,000-sq. ft. structure that will provide a large variety of facilities for the college, including three physics laboratories, six biology laboratories, seven chemistry laboratories, four anatomy and physiology laboratories, and one lab each for psychology, exercise science, IT systems and digital media. The Georgia Gwinnet Allied Health Building incorporates Kewaunee wood casework, fume hoods, wood student tables and localized exhaust units. The wood cabinets were constructed out of FSC/COC wood to meet LEED requirements. This building is a true showcase for the school and the designer.
